The Ballard Bombers routed the host Roland-Story Norsemen softball squad by a final score of 8-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Bombers (9-13) will now prepare for their battle against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch go into the non-league battle with a 14-18 record. In their last battle, Pella held off Perry (Perry, IA), 15-6, in a non-league battle.
The Norsemen now possess a 13-18 record. They play next when they host Albia for a non-league battle on Thursday, July 6. Roland-Story will meet a Blue Demons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 18-8.
