The Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) baseball got by the visiting Cedar Falls Tigers (Cedar Falls, IA), 1-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Little Cyclones now own a 24-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Polk for a non-league challenge on Monday, July 8. Ames will clash with a Comets team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Comets record now stands at 21-6.
With the defeat, Cedar Falls drops to 21-13 on the year. The Tigers travel to Independence (Independence, IA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, July 9. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 12-19.
