The Wahlert Golden Eagles (Dubuque, IA) baseball trounced the host West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA), 12-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now own a 23-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Linn-Mar for a non-league challenge on Saturday, July 6. Wahlert will clash with a Lions team coming off a 6-3 league win over Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA). The Lions record now stands at 27-7.
With the defeat, West Delaware drops to 11-22 on the year. The Hawks travel to Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, July 8. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 20-13.
