Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ogden Bulldogs (Ogden, IA), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Kuemper improves its record to 16-11 on the year. The Knights host Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, July 8. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 12-9.

The Bulldogs now hold a 14-18 record. They play next when they travel to Madrid for a West Central game on Wednesday, July 10. Ogden will play a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-24.
