Iowa High School Softball - Pleasant Valley sneaks past Fairfield

The Pleasant Valley Spartans softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Fairfield Trojans to 5 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.
The Spartans now possess a 25-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albia for a non-league battle on Saturday, July 5. Pleasant Valley will confront a Blue Demons team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 25-1.
With the loss, Fairfield moves to 17-14 on the season. The Trojans travel to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, July 5. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 17-10.
