Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 21-13 record. They take the field next when they host Clear Lake for a non-league challenge on Saturday, July 8. Grinnell will battle a Lions squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Lions record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Iowa Falls-Alden falls to 2-19 on the campaign.
