The Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) baseball the visiting Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA), 8-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Cubs now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boone for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, July 9. Nevada will clash with a Toreadors team coming off a 6-3 league win over Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Toreadors record now stands at 14-9.
With the defeat, Marshalltown drops to 6-23 on the year. The Bobcats host Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, July 11. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 15-9.
