The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) and the visiting Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA), observed Wayne's softball team get by Clarke by a tally of 6-2.

The Falcons (22-2) will now prepare for their bout against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks go into the non-league bout with a 12-25 record. In their last bout, Moravia tipped Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA), 5-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) in a South Central bout, on Thursday, July 10. Clarke will attempt to advance on its 6-17 season record. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a 26-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA).
