The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) and the host Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA), observed Sheldon's softball team get by Western Christian by a tally of 5-2.

The Orabs (8-15) will now prepare for their bout against Algona (Algona, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 18-6 record. In their last bout, Algona tipped Spencer (Spencer, IA), 10-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wolfpack clash with the Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets (Estherville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, July 10. Western Christian will attempt to advance on its 5-19 season record. The Midgets go into the bout with a 21-8 record after their 10-0 league win over Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA).
