The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) and the visiting Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA), observed Southeast Valley's softball team get by Webster City by a tally of 2-1.

The Jaguars (13-12) will now prepare for their bout against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 22-4 record. In their last bout, Prairie City-Monroe tipped Newton (Newton, IA), 9-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lynx clash with the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, July 10. Webster City will attempt to advance on its 6-17 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-24 record after their 12-4 league loss to Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA).
