In Monday's non-league match, the host Jesup J-Hawks softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons.

The J-Hawks (22-8) will now prepare for their match against Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 16-13 record.

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - Central match, on Wednesday, July 10. Aplington-Parkersburg will attempt to better on its 12-13 season record. The Wolverines come into the match with a 19-9 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Osage (Osage, IA).
