The Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Creston Panthers (Creston, IA), 12-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 30-5 record. They take the field next when they host Des Moines East for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, July 8. Indianola will clash with a Scarlets team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Scarlets record now stands at 3-16.
With the defeat, Creston drops to 16-15 on the year. The Panthers travel to Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, July 9. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 23-6.
