Iowa High School Softball - Southeast Polk bounces Ottumwa

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Southeast Polk Rams softball team scored a tight 8-2 win over the Ottumwa Bulldogs.
The Rams (28-10) will now prepare for their match against Ames (Ames, IA). The Little Cyclones come into the non-league match with a 27-10 record. In their last match, Ames nipped Mason City (Mason City, IA), 11-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, July 8. Ottumwa will attempt to better on its 20-11 season record. The Clippers come into the match with a 29-8 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Independence (Independence, IA).
