Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA), 6-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Coffee improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans host Bacon County (Alma, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Monday, August 5. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Bulldogs now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Coffee for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 6. Lanier County will play a Trojans squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
