The Johnson County Trojans triumphed over the visiting Treutlen Vikings softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans play the Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 5. Johnson County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 1A D-II Region 4 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Wheeler County was routed by Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA), 5-1, in a non-league challenge.
