The DeSoto Central Jaguars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Lanier Bulldogs to 0 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

With the win, DeSoto Central improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Jaguars host Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) to face the in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 5. The go into the test with a record of 3-2. Lake Cormorant won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bay for a non-league test on Friday, August 1.
