Lake Hornets (Lake, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Morton Panthers (Morton, MS), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lake improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, August 2. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terry for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 5.
