Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Oak Grove Warriors (Hattiesburg, MS) and the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), observed Oak Grove's volleyball team hold off New Hope by a count of 2-1.
The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Trojans battle the Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 1. New Hope will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
