Utah High School Soccer - Mountain View nudges Wasatch

Mountain View Bruins (Orem, UT) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bruins confront the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 12. Mountain View will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT).
The Wasps now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Maple Mountain for a 5A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, August 15. Wasatch will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
