The Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) softball the visiting Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Winder-Barrow was routed by Eastside (Covington, GA), 7-1, in a league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Duluth for a non-league bout on Monday, August 14. Archer will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
