The Fossil Ridge Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host East View Patriots to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McNeil for a non-league game on Friday, August 11. Fossil Ridge will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Giddings (Giddings, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-1.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Salado (Salado, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Salado held off Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
