The Pierce County Bears tipped the visiting Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bears confront the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 12. Pierce County will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Yellow Jackets (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Valdosta (Valdosta, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
