Georgia High School Softball - Mary Persons bounces Bryan County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) and the visiting Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA), observed Mary Persons's softball team get by Bryan County by a tally of 11-4.

The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Red Devils go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Jackson was routed by Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA), 8-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Redskins battle the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, August 13. Bryan County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Islands (Savannah, GA).
