In Saturday's non-league test, the Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), by a tally of 14-8.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, August 12. Lakeside will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA).

The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Golden Hawks go into the 1A D-I Region 2 test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Washington County was routed by Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA), 10-9, in a non-league battle.
