The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) and the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), observed Tift County's softball team prevail over LaGrange by a tally of 8-0.

The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Lee County knocked off Taylor County (Butler, GA), 9-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Grangers battle the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, August 13. LaGrange will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Luella (Luella, GA).
