The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) and the host Strong Rock Christian Patriots (Locust Grove, GA), observed Union Grove's softball team get by Strong Rock Christian by a tally of 9-5.

The Wolverines (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Westfield School (Perry, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Westfield School was routed by Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 7-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 10. Strong Rock Christian will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Statesboro (Statesboro, GA).
