The Crisp County Cougars routed the visiting Tift County Blue Devils softball squad by a final score of 8-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Lee County held off Tift County (Tifton, GA), 6-2, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Devils now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Thomas County Central for a non-league battle on Friday, August 13. Tift County will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Coffee (Douglas, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-0.
