Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Beaver Beavers (Beaver, UT), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans face the Manti Templars (Manti, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 12. Emery will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Templars enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Cyprus (Magna, UT).

The Beavers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delta for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 16. Beaver will face a Rabbits team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Payson (Payson, UT). The Rabbits record now stands at 2-1.
