The Wolverines now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roswell for a non-league match on Monday, August 15. West Forsyth will face a Hornets squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Etowah falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 16. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-3.
