The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Crawford Pirates (Crawford, TX) and the visiting Westwood Panthers (Palestine, TX), saw Crawford's volleyball squad beat Westwood by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Crawford upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Quitman (Quitman, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, August 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hawkins for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 11. Westwood will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
