Texas High School Volleyball - Weslaco can't hold off Harlingen South

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Harlingen South Hawks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Weslaco Panthers.
The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, McAllen was edged by Alexander (Laredo, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 12. Weslaco will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Bears come into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Harlingen (Harlingen, TX).
