In Friday's league match, the host Palmer Moose football squad scored a close 10-7 victory over the Chugiak Mustangs.
In their next game, the Moose clash with the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) in a Northern Lights-Railbelt match, on Saturday, August 19. Palmer will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Malemutes enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 56-20 league loss to Soldotna (Soldotna, AK).
