Texas High School Volleyball - Cypress Woods tips Bellville

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) and the visiting Bellville Brahmas (Bellville, TX), saw Cypress Woods's volleyball squad nip Bellville by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Cypress Woods upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Langham Creek (Houston, TX) to play the Lobos in a 6A Region II District 16 bout on Saturday, August 12. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Langham Creek lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX)

The Brahmas now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tompkins for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 12. Bellville will play a Falcons squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 4-3.
