In Friday's non-league contest, the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Thunderbirds battle the Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 11. Coronado will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX).
