In Friday's non-league contest, the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) volleyball squad edged the visiting Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 12. Pleasant Grove will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Sanger (Sanger, TX).
