The Poly Bears flag football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Valley View Eagles to 12 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bears now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moreno Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. Poly will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 21-15 non-league loss to San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Valley View drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hillcrest (Riverside, CA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-2. Hillcrest lost 20-0 in their recent non-league test against Vista del Lago (Moreno Valley, CA)
