The Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds triumphed over the visiting Bellevue Tigers soccer squad by a margin of 10-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Thoroughbreds now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Boone County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 13. Newport Central Catholic will play a Rebels squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 1-0.
