The Tri-County Jaguars soccer team (Murphy, NC), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Monday's non-league match with the host Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC)

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next up, the Jaguars battle the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A battle, on Monday, September 1. Tri-County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
