The Stuart Hornets triumphed over the visiting Maud Tigers softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Hornets play the Whitesboro Bulldogs (Whitesboro, OK) in a Class B challenge, on Monday, August 18. Stuart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 16-1 non-league win over Savanna (Savanna, OK).
The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tupelo (Tupelo, OK). The Tigers enter the Class B challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Tupelo was routed by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, OK), 6-4, in a non-league challenge.
