The A.L. Brown Wonders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mount Pleasant Tigers to 1 in the Wonders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wonders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host South Rowan for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 14. A.L. Brown will play a Raiders team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Mount Pleasant falls to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 13. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-0. Northwest Cabarrus won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
