The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT) and the host Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT), observed Spanish Fork's football squad edge Cedar by a count of 10-3.

The Dons now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Crimson Cliffs for a non-league contest on Friday, August 19. Spanish Fork will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Green Canyon (North Logan, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Reds encounter the Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 19. Cedar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wasps go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 59-14 non-league win over Emery (Castle Dale, UT).
