Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Cobb Warriors (Kennesaw, GA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walton for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 15. Woodstock will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, North Cobb falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Etowah lost 10-8 in their recent non-league challenge against West Forsyth (Cumming, GA)
