Texas High School Volleyball - El Paso edged by Austin

The Austin Maroons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting El Paso Tigers to 1 in the Maroons non-league victory on Friday.

The Maroons now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stevens for a non-league game on Saturday, August 13. Austin will meet a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Andress (El Paso, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region I District 1 game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Andress was nudged by Anderson (Austin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
