The Cuero Gobblers volleyball team (Cuero, TX), was nudged 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX)

The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Spring Hill nipped Stephenville (Stephenville, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gobblers meet the Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 12. Cuero will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Travis (Austin, TX).
