The Harlandale Indians held off the visiting Nixon Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Anthony for a non-league test on Friday, August 12. Harlandale will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hondo (Hondo, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Brackenridge was nudged by John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
