The South Hills Scorpions held off the host Non Varsity Tournament Opponent volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Scorpions now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Adams for a non-league test on Friday, August 12. South Hills will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Temple (Temple, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
The (1-8) will now prepare for their test against High Island (High Island, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, High Island was nudged by Hemphill (Hemphill, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
