The Adair Warriors got by the visiting Jay Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Warriors (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Miami (Miami, OK). The Wardogs go into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Miami was edged by Moore (Moore, OK), 10-5, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hilldale for a 4A District 7 battle on Monday, August 14. Jay will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Jenks (Jenks, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
