With the triumph, Jackson moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Red Devils host Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to clash with the Pirates in a 3A Region 2 game on Thursday, August 17. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 2-3. Pike County lost 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 15. Carrollton will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 19-0 non-league win over LaGrange (LaGrange, GA).
