The Sentinel got by the host Fletcher Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Burns Flat-Dill City (Burns Flat, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Central for a Class A battle on Monday, August 14. Fletcher will meet a Bronchos squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Empire (Duncan, OK). The Bronchos record now stands at 7-5.
