The North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) softball the host Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Titans (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars go into the 4A Region 8 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Cedar Shoals held off Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA), 16-8, in a non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to River Ridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 12. Lowndes will confront a Knights squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
